David R. Sullivan, DPM, FACFAS, FACCWS

Dr. David Sullivan is a native Hoosier who returned to Indiana to start Westfield Foot and Ankle, LLC. After practicing for several years in Illinois, Dr. Sullivan left a thriving practice to create an entirely new practice catering to the ever-changing population of Westfield and Hamilton County, a wonderful place to live and raise children. Dr. Sullivan received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University/Bloomington and earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, affiliated with the Rosalind-Franklin School of Medicine. 

Dr. Sullivan completed residencies in both podiatric surgery at Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, AZ, and primary podiatric medicine at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. While practicing in Illinois, Dr. Sullivan became board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also a Certified Wound Specialist, a Fellow of the American College of Certified Wound Specialists, and an Association for the Advancement of Wound Care member. Dr. Sullivan additionally is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Association of Podiatric Practice Management.

Dr. Sullivan provides advanced management and treatment for many lower extremity disorders for adult and pediatric patients. These include but are not limited to plantar fasciitis and other heel pain conditions; diabetic, venous stasis and chronic ulcerations; osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis afflicting the foot and ankle; ankle sprains and unstable ankles; generalized foot deformities including bunions, hammertoes, ball of foot pain; skin lesions and disorders; ingrown toenails; and an array of bone, joint, and tendon related pathologies.

In the community, Dr. Sullivan is a member of the Westfield Rotary Club. Dr. Sullivan and his family live in Zionsville, and he enjoys playing tennis regularly and traveling. His goal is to visit all 50 states by the time he is 50 and celebrate in Hawaii, the 50th state.
