Kenneth P. Stumpf, DPM, FACFAS

Board-certified Podiatrist, Foot & Ankle Surgeon


Born and raised in Evansville, Ind., Dr. Kenneth Stumpf graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor's degree in biology. Dr. Stumpf earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Ill.

Upon graduation, he completed his three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Community Westview Hospital in Indianapolis. At Community Westview, he served as the foot and ankle medical director. Before joining Westfield Foot and Ankle, Dr. Stumpf was a podiatrist with Community Health Network and brings over a decade of experience treating foot and ankle disorders. He served as an attending physician for the Community Health Network Podiatry Residency and Family Practice Residency programs. Currently, Dr. Stumpf is an assistant clinical professor at the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis.

Dr. Stumpf is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association. Currently, Dr. Stumpf treats pediatric and adult patients, from primary podiatric care to more complex foot and ankle conditions, including tarsal tunnel syndrome, chronic ankle sprains, Achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, and osteoarthritis. He is also interested in bunion and hammertoe surgical reconstruction and gives second opinions on surgical options. 

Dr. Stumpf has a passion for sports medicine and sports injuries. He enjoys assisting athletes and runners in getting back into action. As a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, Dr. Stumpf aims to help everyone, from professional athletes to weekend warriors, return to playing sports or exercising as quickly as possible.

In the community, Dr. Stumpf volunteers as the Fit Feet Clinical Coordinator with the Special Olympics of Indiana. In this role, he provides free foot screenings for athletes, treatment advice, and helps coordinate the donation of socks and shoes to the athletes. Dr. Stumpf has also served as the team podiatrist for the Indy Fuel hockey team and the Indy Eleven soccer team.

Dr. Stumpf and his family reside in Carmel, and he enjoys working out and trying new restaurants with his family and friends.
